Zoom launches Zoom for Defense, bringing secure, mission-ready collaboration to Department of Defense agencies

Today, Zoom announced the general availability of Zoom for Defense, a secure, U.S.- based collaboration platform purpose‑built to meet the Department of Defense’s stringent IL4 security, NIPRNet connectivity, and operational requirements. This specialized extension of the Zoom for Government offering gives the Department of Defense agencies, employees, and partners confidence that their communications are in compliance with their security requirements, while maintaining the familiar Zoom experience. 

By empowering defense agencies, partners and contractors to integrate, collaborate, and innovate on a common, resilient and compliant platform, teams can focus on what matters most – their missions.

Sold exclusively through Zoom’s partner Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider®, the platform supports a comprehensive suite of Zoom solutions, including:

These tools provide DoD organizations with a flexible collaboration platform capable of supporting IL4-level mission requirements. Capabilities will continue to expand, with Zoom Phone and Zoom Contact Center expected to be added early next year.
