Zoom AI Companion helps users master their to-do lists by sourcing actions from across Zoom Workplace within Zoom Tasks

Make more time for energizing work with AI Companion

Zoom AI Companion is becoming even more powerful with the addition of agentic skills. Zoom AI Companion will perform multi-step actions on a user’s behalf, so that users can delegate work to AI Companion, helping them achieve their goals faster and with better outcomes.

AI Companion for Zoom Workplace now includes agentic skills—reasoning, memory, task action, and orchestration, so it can understand what needs to be done, and help the user accomplish the right things faster and better.

AI Companion helps users get more done

Today’s fast-paced work environment can be overwhelming and filled with repetitive tasks. With AI Companion’s agentic skills, it can take on mundane tasks and free up time to focus on more impactful work.

Stay engaged while AI Companion does the work

  • AI Companion will generate live notes during a meeting to help users stay on track and stay focused on the conversation rather than taking manual notes. Live notes are expected to launch in May.
  • For in-person meetings, the AI Companion voice recorder will transcribe, summarize, and capture action items so users can enjoy meeting summaries even when not on a Zoom Meeting or phone call. This enables users to connect face-to-face and not have to worry about taking notes manually. The voice recorder is expected to launch later this month on the Zoom mobile app, with the desktop app and Zoom Room availability coming this summer.
  • To relieve users of completing tedious tasks on their own, they can use Zoom Workflow Automation and connect second and third-party apps, like Jira, to easily generate support tickets on their behalf. This capability is expected to be available in April.

Let AI Companion manage the work day from beginning to end

  • AI Companion will be able to help keep users organized throughout the workday, manage their time, and stay on top of tasks and meetings with new Calendar management agentic skills, which are planned to be available this summer.
  • AI Companion will draft meeting agendas that cover what’s important, so that users can keep teams aligned and collaborating effectively. Meeting agendas with AI Companion is planned to be available later this month.

Master the to-do list

  • AI Companion will be able to execute tasks across Zoom Workplace, sourcing action items from Zoom Meetings, Zoom Team Chat, and Zoom Mail, managing, and completing tasks across the platform. Zoom Tasks is planned to be available later this month.
  • AI Companion will work with Microsoft Teams using the Zoom App for Teams to help users prioritize urgent voicemails and share key action items from their Zoom Phone number within Teams, helping them stay organized and manage their time more efficiently.

Do the best work and get better results

As the modern workplace evolves, so too do employees as they seek to improve their skills. AI Companion helps users reach their full potential and perform better at work, from the beginning of a project to the end.

Prep like a pro

  • AI Companion will help draft a writing plan for users within Zoom Docs based on context, search internal and external information for references, and aggregate them into high quality business documents based on users’ instructions. Writing assistance is planned to launch in June.
  • When users are collaborating with colleagues in Zoom Team Chat and need to quickly get aligned on projects, AI Companion can provide a summary of their documents shared in the chat, helping users save time and minimize the hassle of context switching between tabs. This capability is planned to launch in June.

No more blank-page anxiety

  • AI Companion can be used to summarize whiteboarding sessions into docs, chats, and emails, as well as quickly create advanced diagrams and flowcharts with personalized stencils and objects. Have AI Companion also take meeting, chat, or doc content and use it to create rich, interactive, and collaborative Zoom Whiteboards that teams can use to improve productivity. These capabilities are planned to launch in March and May respectively.

Stay organized

  • Soon, users will be able to store meeting and productivity files within Zoom Drive, a central repository for meeting and productivity assets. This will help them stay organized and have one place to store Zoom files like Documents, Whiteboards, and meeting cloud recordings. Zoom Drive is expected to launch in May.
  • Administrators will now be able to pinpoint optimization opportunities by using the Admin dashboard to gain valuable insights into organizational usage, product adoption, and performance metrics. The admin dashboard is expected to be available in March.

Strengthen relationships with customers and colleagues

Developing strong relationships is challenging when teams are stretched thin. With AI Companion, users can connect more authentically with their colleagues and external customers

Keep track of conversations

  • Easily manage business communications by consolidating fax, SMS, and calls into one Zoom Phone number, eliminating the need for additional hardware, providers, complex setups, and extra billing.
  • AI Companion will combine 1:1 Zoom Meeting summaries and Zoom Phone call summaries and voicemails within the same 1:1 chat channel, so users don’t have to search separate channels to find related assets. Voicemails is planned for March and Meeting summaries and Zoom Phone call summaries for June.
  • Easily capture time spent on client meetings using Billable hours by turning on time tracking during the meeting. Billable hours will work with Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone, expected to be available in late Spring.

Connecting just got even easier

  • Improve team coordination, reduce response times, and stay connected with one-touch, on-demand conversations with push-to-talk for Zoom Phone, enabling instant, real-time voice communication.

Maximize in-person time

  • In-office workers will be able to use AI Companion for Workspace Reservation to see which colleagues are expected to be in the office, understand which days are best for them to commute based on their meetings and which teammates are also in-office, and have AI Companion proactively book a desk or a Zoom Room for them. These updates are expected to launch in May.
  • Build flexible and reliable meeting spaces with enhanced customizable AV protocols for Windows and macOS in Zoom Rooms including NDI, Dante, and Hardware I/O using Custom AV for Zoom Rooms. Integrators can customize outputs like gallery sizes, overlays, and content displays and leverage expanded control options through the Zoom Rooms SDK and APIs, as well as the Zoom Rooms Custom AV Controller. These features provide integrators with robust solutions while minimizing technical complexity and are expected to be available in March.
  • Get notified and manage mail and packages received in the office with Delivery Management in the Workspaces app. Users can receive a notification through Team Chat or email, as well as through Microsoft Teams or Slack. Admins will have the ability to scan packages and coordinate pickups by sending notifications to the users to pick up their mail or packages as well as get reporting and analytics. This new feature will support the hybrid workforce included in Enterprise Workplace bundles and the Visitor Management SKU at no additional cost and is expected to be available in March.
