Zoom and Nayeema Raza Partner to Explore the Future of Work Through Original Conversations and Storytelling
The partnership brings together a special 6-part series of Nayeema’s award-winning podcast “Smart Girl Dumb Questions,” a social Zoomterviews series with Zoom Soloprenuers, and live conversation at Zoomtopia to explore the entrepreneurs, creators, and business leaders shaping the future of work.
Today, Zoom announced Smart Girl Dumb Questions x Zoom, a new collaboration with journalist and podcaster Nayeema Raza to explore the future of work through original video interviews, podcast storytelling, and live experiences. Together, Zoom and Nayeema will spotlight the entrepreneurs, creators, executives, and innovators shaping how people build businesses, lead teams, and collaborate in a rapidly changing world.
This partnership is part of Zoom’s strategy to earn a place inside conversations and platforms Zoom doesn’t own or control. Nayeema’s work will remain editorially independent as she explores the themes that shape the future or work and leadership culture with her signature curiosity, journalistic rigour, and cheeky wit. Alongside the Soloprenuer 50 program and Zoombassador program, it reflects a deliberate bet that the future-of-work story lands harder coming from Nayeema’s objective voice than from Zoom’s.
It also reflects Zoom’s belief that understanding the future of work starts by listening to the people shaping it. This is especially true now, as AI reshapes what a team, a business, and a workday even look like. Across social-first interviews, a special podcast series, and potential live experiences, Zoom and Nayeema will bring together diverse voices to explore how technology, leadership, entrepreneurship, and changing workplace expectations are transforming the way we work.

The collaboration will come to life across three connected experiences that explore the future of work from different perspectives and across multiple formats.
Zoomterviews
Beginning the week of July 20, Zoom and Nayeema will launch Zoomterviews, a new social-first interview series featuring members of the Solopreneur 50.
Filmed entirely on Zoom, each conversation highlights an entrepreneur redefining what it means to build a successful business, from florists and coaches to designers, artists, and even cat trainers. Through thoughtful questions and candid conversations, the series explores the creativity, resilience, and individuality behind today’s growing solopreneur movement.
New interviews will premiere weekly across Zoom’s social channels, with extended conversations available on YouTube.
“What Even Is Work?”
Later this summer, Zoom will present What Even Is Work?, a special limited series part of Smart Girl Dumb Questions.
Hosted by Nayeema, the series will feature conversations with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and cultural voices exploring how technology, leadership, flexibility, and changing workforce expectations are reshaping modern work. Each episode invites listeners to think differently about the ideas, trends, and people defining what’s next.
Zoomtopia
The partnership will also come to life on stage at Zoomtopia, where Nayeema will host a live Smart Girl Dumb Questions conversation with customers, creators, and business leaders exploring the ideas shaping the future of work.
Together, these three experiences create an ongoing platform for conversations that extend beyond a single interview, podcast episode, or live event, bringing together diverse voices to explore how work is changing and where it’s headed next.
Looking Ahead
See the first Zoomterviews premiere on July 21, with new conversations released weekly across Zoom’s social channels and extended conversations available on YouTube. What Even Is Work? will launch later this summer, with the live Smart Girl Dumb Questions conversation taking place on October 20 at Zoomtopia.
